COVID-19 Update June 2020

Now we are at Alert Level 1, the guidance from the New Zealand Ministry of Health is that we can operate our services as normal but with some precautions in place. These relate to infection prevention and control measures to prevent the spread of infections.   Telehealth is still an available option should people prefer this over in person consultations.

Infection prevention and control measures are an ongoing priority to ensure the safety of our clients, clinician's and staff.  The measures include hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette, and regular cleaning of high touch surfaces.  We ask our clients to not attend their appointments in person when they are sick.  Our clinician's will be observing the same protocols.

All our clinicians are currently fully booked with lengthy waitlists.  Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept new clients unless they are returning clients or have been referred directly to a specified  clinician.  Our receptionist Anne-Marie is available to respond to enquiries and can be contacted on: info@welpa.co.nz.  She will liaise with your Clinical Psychologist as required.
