COVID-19 Update 8th Sept 2021

We are now operating at Level 2.  We have received advice guiding our service delivery from the MOH and New Zealand Psychologists Board.

We are pleased to be able to offer face to face consultations with our clinicians again. However, Telehealth and virtual appointments remain the preferred option. We will discuss with you the best option for your circumstances before your next appointment.

If you are coming in for a face to face consultation at our practice rooms there are a number of processes in place.

1. Screening for COVID-19 symptoms prior to the appointment.

2. Physical distancing measures. We have created a 2 metre space between seating in our waiting room, and in our consulting rooms.

3.  We will be following infection control measures including all of our clinicians and administration staff wearing masks.  Please wear a mask on arrival to the practice and in the waiting room.

4.  We have staggered our appointments to prevent crossover in the waiting room. We ask that you arrive as close to your appointment time as possible to avoid unnecessary waiting. Our clinicians will be keeping strictly to their appointment times.

5. Please scan the QR code on entry and use the sanitiser at the door.

6. We will be increasing our ventilation in the practice, including opening the windows in our practice rooms.   The temperature may therefore be cooler, and road noise may be more obvious as a consequence.

Please contact us on info@welpa.co.nz if you have any questions.  Sydney our receptionist will be available throughout the day via email to answer any queries and she will be liaising closely with your psychologist. Take care and thank you for your patience.  The team at WPA.

All our clinicians are currently fully booked with lengthy waitlists.  Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept new clients unless you have been seen before by one of our psychologists.
