COVID-19 Update 12th May 2020

As we move to Level 2, the guidance from the New Zealand Ministry of Health is that telehealth and virtual appointments remain the preferred option for delivery of our services.  We will therefore continue to offer video and phone consultations.

However, for those who do attend face to face consultations at our practice rooms you will notice some changes:

  • A COVID-19 screening questionnaire will be emailed to you prior to your appointment. Please do not come to the practice if you are unwell or have been in close contact with anyone who has been unwell.

  • Our booking system has been adjusted to allow for physical distancing and to minimise the risk of coming into contact with other clients or staff.

  • We ask that you arrive at the practice at the scheduled time of your appointment.

  • Please apply the hand sanitiser that is at the entry of our practice on Level 5, before entering the waiting room. To keep all parties protected, appropriate hygiene and cleaning measures will be observed.

  • An invoice will be emailed to you after the consultation and payment can be made via internet banking.

  • As we have your personal details we do not require any further information for the purpose of contact tracing.  Please advise of any additional people accompanying you to the appointment.

All our clinicians continue to accept new referrals as well as providing ongoing consultations for existing clients. Our receptionist Anne-Marie is available to respond to enquiries Monday-Friday and can be contacted on: info@welpa.co.nz.  She will liaise with your Clinical Psychologist as required.

We appreciate your flexibility and patience over this time and will do our best to ensure we can continue to offer as streamlined a service as possible.
