COVID-19 Update 7th October 2020

We are now operating at Alert Level 1 and the delivery of our service has returned to normal.  We continue to observe infection prevention and control measures that include hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene, cough etiquette  and regular cleaning of high touch surfaces

We ask our clients to not attend their appointments in person when they are sick.  Our clinician's will be observing the same protocolVideo and phone consultations are still an available option should people prefer this over in person appointments. This can be arranged through your clinician or our reception. Please contact the practice on info@welpa.co.nz or phone on (04) 472 0710.

All our clinicians are currently fully booked with lengthy waitlists.  Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept new clients unless you have been seen before by one of our psychologists.

Wellington Psychological Associates was established in 1982 with the aim of providing a high quality and comprehensive clinical psychology service to the Wellington Community. This inner city practice of six very experienced, well regarded members of the clinical psychology profession strives to maintain the highest possible standards of practice and confidentiality. All are clinically trained with at least 15 years experience in the private and public sectors.

The seven Clinical Psychologists at Wellington Psychological Associates are registered under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 and members of the professional body of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists. Ongoing education and professional development is a cornerstone of our practice.

Uniquely in the Wellington region, the skill mix and areas of expertise of our clinician's allows us to offer not only individual therapy for adults, but also assessment and treatment for children and adolescents.
